At Black Duck Outfitters, our goal is to provide you with a safe and affordable hunting trip and the best of memories.

Some of the best Duck, Goose, and Snow Goose hunting in the lower 48 states can be found throughout the state of Maryland. We offer guided hunts in Central and Western Maryland, just 45 minutes from Washington, DC. and Baltimore.

In Manitoba, we hunt waterfowl in the mornings. Traditional Delta Marsh Duck Hunts are in small canoe style boats with one guide and 2-3 clients. Field hunts for Snows/Blues, Canadas, and Ducks are from layout blinds and are usually one guide per 4-5 clients. You may see and shoot more in 3-5 days than most people do in a season at home.

We will arrange a variety of hunts to suit the interests of your group, and generally do not mix parties unless you have less than 4 hunters. Afternoon waterfowl hunting is available by advance reservation.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
We negotiate discount rates at motels in Maryland, and, in Canada,we provide comfortable lodging and meals. Lodging is in either cabins with 2 bedrooms each or rooms in the main lodge. Each bedroom sleeps 2-3 hunters. We have a large dining room with satellite TV and a main room with comfy sofas and another satellite TV. Meals include: a light breakfast in the morning before heading out, brunch at the lodge after the morning hunt, and a hearty dinner.

Included: The guides; equipment such as decoys, boats, blinds; lodging; food; dogs if needed.

Not Included: Transportation to Manitoba, rental car, guns, ammo, bird processing, alcohol, licenses or other Canadian Government imposed fees (approx. $150 Canadian dollars), gratuities.

Manitoba Location: We are located 60 minutes from Winnipeg near Portage La Prairie. This prime location offers the best hunting and makes the most of your vacation time by eliminating long drives to and from the airport.
