Dampier Lodge is located in the Black Hills of Wyoming, 22 miles north of Newcastle, WY and 30 miles east of Sundance, WY. We hunt Private, Federal & State lands. We have great hunting for Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer. You will see a lot of nice bucks, usually 4-6 points on a side, and you can move around to close in on your buck. The usual bucks antlers run 20-28 in. spread, but there are a few which can measure up to 32 in.wide. This is not to say that we do not have spikes or forks, but we ask that you take 4 on a side or better.

All hunts are fully guided.


The Antelope antler spread is usually 13 -15 in. There is an abundance of bucks here!!!
We charge no trophy fee for deer or antelope.

Archery hunts are in September; Antelope hunting is in October;
Deer hunting is in November.

We serve the best all you can eat breakfast in Wyoming.
Lunches are taken with you as we do stay out all day.
You return daily to a great home cooked dinner buffet served in our large modern beautiful lodge.
Women are welcome to come and hunt or just to be with their men.

Our hunts are based on what I expect when I go hunting elsewhere. We know what you are looking for. Also, please ask about our varmint hunting (prairie dogs and coyote) in June, July, and August.
