Ram Creek Outfitters has been in operation since 1976, as a part of the Leuenbergers' Big Horn Outfitters and has a long, family history in the guiding industry.
Ram Creek camp is an oasis of comfort after a long day in the mountains. Hot running water, delicious food, conversation and comfortable beds can all be found in abundance.
SERVICE HAS BEEN, AND WILL ALWAYS BE, THE CORNERSTONE OF RAM CREEK OUTFITTERS.
The Ram Creek territory is located in Southeastern British Columbia in the heart of the Rocky mountains. This area is noted for several things: abundance and quality of wildlife,
Very Low Resident Hunting Pressure and high, rugged mountains! you will be on the mountain in the midst of the action. Your guide will give one hundred and fifty percent to make your hunt as enjoyable and successful as possible. To a man, this is a group that is young, gung-ho and very knowledgeable in both the area and the wildlife. Experienced hunters themselves, no guide will try to " walk your buns off".
If you're looking for good respectable bull
ELK, we offer you an 50% success rate on 6 point bulls and better. One on one, you and your guide go up against the most intelligent species we hunt. Hunting by horseback and on foot,
MULE DEER and/or BLACK BEAR can be hunted as well, with a good chance of taking at least two animals.
Hunting
BIGHORN SHEEP is not for the faint hearted. Rugged terrain, and a limited number of legal rams spread over a large area, make this a challenging hunt. To increase your chances, 2 guides are employed to help cover the country and spot your ram.
We feel justified in bragging about the quality of our
GRIZZLY hunts. We are particularly proud ( and not without a little luck) to have been able to consistently take bears that fit the description of what most hunters only dream about when thinking of their grizzly.
From blondes to the deepest black, we are fortunate in having all color phases of the
BLACK BEAR. Treat yourself to a spring hunt while others are impatiently waiting for their hunting season to start.
